Campingaz Master 4 Series Classic LXS Black Edition BBQ

A big name for a mighty BBQ, the Master 4 arrives on a pallet but turns into a cooking machine. The four burners allow the grill areas to be set at up to four different temperatures, plus there’s a side burner for other dishes or pans. It’s versatile enough that you can swap out the grills for options like broilers or pizza stones too.

Char-Broil All-Star 120 B-Gas BBQ

Char-Broil's All-Star 120 B-Gas BBQ is, as the name suggests, a gas grill that features plenty of useful touches like hooks to hangs tea towels or cooking utensils and hinged side trays. The BBQ isn't very portable, but could feasibly be used for those who want to take a proper grill with them in a camper or caravan. Our only con is the fussy and time-consuming assembly before the BBQ...

Outback Signature 6 Burner Gas BBQ

If you want to impress the neighbours with the size of your BBQ as well as the food, this Outback model will do the trick. It packs six burners into the main cooking area plus a side burner, and is over two metres in length, so it needs a sizeable garden. It needs a big wallet to go with it - expect to pay over £1,200 - but at least it comes almost completely built.

4

Memphis 2 Burner BBQ

If you only need a modestly-sized BBQ but want something that looks cool, this retro offering from Memphis could be an ideal choice with its resplendent red finish and classic Americana design. Flip the lid and you get a pair of burners and side trays both finished in stainless steel, while the grills are cast iron for durability. The lower half houses the gas bottle but also offers space for utensils and a rack for condiments.

5

Campingaz Party Grill 600

The Campingaz Party Grill 600 offers a wide range of cooking options, while also being easy to pack away and transport. In the box, you’ll find the stove itself, three stow-away legs, a lid and a variety of grills including pan support, reversible cooking griddle and a conventional barbecue-style grill. It’s fair to say we’re impressed with the Party Grill 600, and there are smaller options in the form of the Party Grill 200 and 400 if you don’t need the do-it-all capabilities of the 600.

Outdoor Chef Ascona Gas BBQ

Not everyone wants a gas leviathan that can burn through the North Sea reserves in a single birthday party, which is where this discreet and compact two-burner from Outdoor Chef comes in. It can accommodate a 7.5kg bottle comfortably, and each burner has its own ignition and the ability to switch easily between direct and indirect cooking modes. Usefully it also has height-adjustable feet and the facility to level off the cooking bowl.

10

Itopkitchen Gas Plancha BBQ

If you like your BBQs to have more of a Spanish feel then this offering from Itopkitchen will set the tone. The plancha design means you get a more concentrated heat point directly beneath the burner with lower temperatures as you move outwards, so you can cook a huge variety of foods at the same time. The flat plate design means it’s easy to clean afterwards, and you get to look cooler than your neighbours too.
